Motor - Door - Exterior Handle - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove door handle for access (refer to procedure)
  2. Position handle assembly on a soft working surface.
  3. Remove door handle rear seal.
  4. Release motor harness connector.
  5. Remove cable ties securing door pressure sensor and motor wiring.
  6. Release motor wiring connector.
  7. Remove screws (x4) securing motor to housing (torque 4 Nm).
  8. Release motor from dowels disengage motor gear spigot from housing.
  9. Carefully remove motor.
  10. Remove screws (x3) securing mounting bracket to motor (torque 1 Nm).
  11. Remove bracket from motor.

Installation

  1. Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following.
  2. Install bracket to the motor and secure with screws. Ensure the motor wiring is correctly routed through the bracket.
  3. Install motor to housing, locate gear spigot and position on dowels. Secure motor with screws (x4) and connect wiring.
  4. Position wiring to housing and secure with cable ties.
  5. Install the door handle rear seal.
  6. Install door handle to panel.
