Motor - Fan Assembly - Front HVAC (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Open both front doors and the RH rear door.
  2. Disconnect 12V power (refer to procedure).
  3. Remove the RH footwell cover (refer to procedure).
  4. Remove the RH lower A-pillar trim (refer to procedure).
  5. Carefully peel back the carpet for access.
  6. Remove the RH primary carpet support from the vehicle.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fan motor.
  8. Remove the screws (x3) that secure the fan motor (torque 1.2 Nm).
  9. Remove the fan motor from the front HVAC assembly.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
