TXV Valve - Evaporator - Rear (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the rear HVAC assembly (refer to procedure).
  2. Disconnect the TXV valve electrical connector.

  3. Remove the foam gasket from the bottom of the HVAC assembly.
  4. Remove the screws (x2) that secure the TXV valve to the HVAC assembly (torque 6 Nm).
  5. Release the TXV valve from the rear HVAC assembly.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Note: Clean the affected areas before installation.
