Compressor - Air Suspension (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Position the vehicle on a lift, but do not raise the vehicle at this time.
  2. Use the Toolbox "Air Suspension Fill/Deflate" panel to depressurize the system.
  3. Loosen the lug nuts.
  4. Remove the RH front wheel.
  5. Remove the nut (torque 6 Nm) and clips (x7) that secure the front of the RH front arch liner. Fold the arch liner back to access the front of the wheelwell.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the air suspension compressor.
  7. Release the wire retaining clip from the bracket.
  8. Release the nut that secures the line from the air suspension reservoir (torque 3.5 Nm).
  9. Release the nuts that secure the lines from the 4 air springs (torque 2 Nm).
  10. Disconnect the air hose from the compressor.
  11. Release the nuts that secure the bracket to the body (torque 5 Nm), then remove the compressor and bracket from the vehicle as an assembly.
  12. Release the 3 fasteners that secure the compressor to the bracket (torque 5 Nm).

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
