Front Oil Seal - Differential to Halfshaft Assembly - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the LH halfshaft (refer to procedure).
  2. Use the Seal Puller to remove the oil seal from the differential casing.
    Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
Note: Clean the affected areas before installation.
  1. Use the Output Seal Installation Tool to install the oil seal in the differential casing.
    Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).

  2. Ensure that the seal is seated correctly in the differential casing.
