Removal

Remove the jackshaft assembly (refer to procedure).
Use the seal puller to remove the oil seal from the differential casing.

Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Note: Clean the affected areas before installation.

Use the output seal installation tool to install the oil seal in the differential casing.

Ensure that the seal is seated correctly in the differential casing.
