Carrier - Rocker Panel - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the rocker passive entry antenna (refer to procedure).
  2. Release the push clip that secures the front of the rocker panel carrier to the rocker panel.

  3. Use a trim tool to carefully release the double sided tape that secures the front and rear Bluetooth antennas.
    Note: RH side shown; LH side is identical.

  4. Remove the bolts (x10) that secure the rocker panel carrier to the body of the vehicle (torque 3 Nm).

  5. Remove the rocker panel carrier from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Note: Replace the double sided tape on the Bluetooth antennas if necessary.
  1. Clean the mounting surface on the rocker panel carrier with alcohol wipes.
  2. Apply firm pressure to the antennas for at least 15 seconds to ensure that the double sided tape is properly applied.
