Rear View Mirror (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Use a trim tool to release the clips that secure the lower rear view mirror cover. Remove the cover.
    Caution: Take care not to damage component(s).

  2. Disconnect the rear view mirror electrical connector.
  3. Twist the stay arm clockwise approximately 120 degrees until the rear view mirror assembly pulls free.
    Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.

  4. Remove the rear view mirror assembly from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Ensure that no wires are pinched between the mirror covers.
