-
Release the 2 bolts that secure the jackshaft to the old drive unit (torque 30
                  Nm).

-
Remove all NVH padding except for the lower LH section.

Note: This section of padding cannot be removed while the drive unit is supported
                     by the crane.

-
Open the crate that contains the new drive unit. Set the lid on the ground so

-
Lower the old drive unit onto the lid.

Remove the coolant hose and pump from the old drive unit.

-
Resecure the crane cables to the old drive unit and lift it off of the crate
                  lid.

Caution: Be very careful not to damage the motor in the next step.
            -
Working with at least 1 assistant, lift the new drive unit out of the crate and
set it on the crate lid.

-
Transfer the following components from the new drive unit to the old drive
                  unit:

                     - LH motor mount

                     - RH motor mount

Use the crane to place the old drive unit into the crate.

-
Install all NVH padding except for the lower RH section onto the new drive
                  unit.
