Actuator - Cinching (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Open liftgate and secure at working height.
  2. Remove liftgate trim (refer to procedure)
  3. Remove screws x3 securing cinch motor to liftgate.
  4. Release harness clip, rotate the cinch clockwise to access harness connector.
  5. Disconnect harness connector.
  6. Position cinching motor for access to latch release cable. Release cable from abutment and disconnect inner cable from motor.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
