Inspection and Maintenance

Each lift table must be inspected on a yearly basis. Complete the Annual Inspection Checklist using the criteria listed on the form. If a table does not meet any one of the criteria, discontinue use of the table and contact ServiceTooling@teslamotors.com.

For questions about the inspection or logbooks, send an email to the Tesla Service Tooling team at ServiceTooling@teslamotors.com.

Only Tesla specified original components for the lift table may be used for replacements. Contact ServiceTooling@teslamotors.com if replacement components are required.

Use a lubrication gun to apply grease (Mobil NLGI grade 2 lithium complex-based grease or equivalent) to the fittings on the back of each caster jack and on the top of each caster on a yearly basis. It is recommended that this be completed while filling out the Annual Inspection Checklist.

The following safety labels should be affixed to one of the bottom bars of the battery lift table. If any labels are missing or damaged and cannot be read, contact ServiceTooling@teslamotors.com to order replacements.

Note: When replacing labels, make sure to not cover the part number plate on the battery lift table bar if one is present.
